A former journalist, Wendy is relentless, passionate, and committed to getting the best visibility for her clients to create immediate and long-term value. She knows how to find, package and pitch stories to the right audience. She stretches clients' dollars by leveraging earned media coverage on social media and owned media channels for even more exposure.
“Every day I connect with people who inspire me to do my job and be a better person. Using my ability as a communicator and strategist, I tell stories that not only impact the organization's bottom line, but honor team members, residents and their families. That's my small part in making a big difference in the lives of seniors. My biggest payday is when our efforts make a resident or family member smile or put a spotlight on a deserving team member."
Wendy tells colleagues she is most at home on the front lines: talking with her residents and family members, creating strategies, and brainstorming ideas for new activities or programs that would complement the communications efforts. "I believe we best serve our clients when we work as an active extension of their team. By embracing the organization's vision and culture from the inside out we can tell their stories as if they were our own. We provide sound strategy on the front-end, where it's most impactful."
